Glasgow Science Centre
The mini-bus pulled up outside Glasgow Science Centre. I had been looking forward to it. We entered, a girl called Liz-Anne showed us where to go and where to put our bags and coats.
Then we went onto the first floor. We looked around at all the amazing structures and experiments. My favourite thing was a car simulator where one has to avoid crashing the car. Soon after we saw a show called “Blood Bile and Body Bits” which I extremely enjoyed seeing, it was hilarious when Shane had to eat a cream cracker in under a minute. After the show we looked around for a little while and then went to a workshop called “Wind Works” in the workshop we did a experiment with a wind turbine, a fan, amp metre, LED light and a buzzer. Then we tested how much electricity the mini turbine was producing.
After that we had lunch and then left to go back to school, when we arrived back it was home time, we were all counted and then went home. I really enjoyed it and my Dad and I are going back in the summer.
